An addition suited the needs, lifestyle and budget for the homeowners of this renovation project. These homeowners are enjoying their home and retirement, and wished for a beautiful space for entertaining, or relaxing on their own. Extending the living area of their home afforded them the convenience of adding an accessible main floor bathroom, new living space and a gorgeous outdoor deck – all the amenities of an age-friendly main floor home. The beautiful new space extending from the living area was unified with new hardwood flooring for a seamless appearance. Doors and windows were chosen specifically to allow lots of natural light that would extend through to the living room and kitchen areas. The light of this new room draws you out to the gorgeous, open deck for this family to enjoy for many years. The homeowners were pleased to improve the function and beauty of their indoor space with the infusion of light and proximity of a finished outdoor space.
